GRHC Announces Leadership Change

Grant Regional Health Center announces a change in leadership. Nicole Clapp has left her position as Chief Executive Officer of Grant Regional Health Center, effective Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

Under Nicole’s various leadership positions for almost 22 years with Grant Regional Health Center, the hospital has accomplished higher benchmarks in clinical improvements, higher patient satisfaction scores, improved financial goals, and added several new patient services. Tom Vondrum, Grant Regional Health Center Board Chair expressed appreciation for Nicole’s many contributions for the success of the hospital and the fine services the hospital provides for area residents and visitors.

The Grant Regional Health Center Board has already engaged with their management company HealthTechS3 in placing an interim CEO to assure the change will be as seamless as possible. Mike Lieb will be the new Interim CEO effective Monday, February 5, 2018. Mike has successfully served as Interim CEO in several similar situations with other hospitals. “We wish Nicole the very best as she moves on to other opportunities and appreciate all the good work she has done at Grant Regional over the years,” said Neil E Todhunter, President of HealthTechS3.

Over the next few months, the hospital Board of Directors will be assisted by HealthTech in conducting a national search to recruit a Chief Executive Officer for the hospital. During this transition period, it will be a priority to find the best individual to lead, while still maintaining a stable and effective organization.

The Board of Directors and the Administrative team are working to assure that this change will not affect operations or the hospital’s mission.
