Grant Regional Health Center welcomes Dr. Jacob Wagner, General Surgeon to our medical community. Dr. Wagner will see patients at Grant Regional Community Clinic and provide surgical services in Lancaster starting this month.
Dr. Jacob Wagner is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is skilled in a wide array of general surgery procedures including:
- minimally invasive procedures/laparoscopic surgery,
- endoscopy/colonoscopy,
- hernia repair,
- breast surgery,
- cancer surgery,
- endocrine surgery,
- abdominal surgery,
- skin/soft tissue surgery,
- gallbladder surgery,
- gastrointestinal surgery, to name a few.
When asked to describe his medical practice philosophy, Dr. Wagner explains, “I believe in listening to my patients and working with them to get the best possible outcome for them. I want them to achieve good health and with advancements in surgical techniques, I’m happy I can help them improve their quality of life.”
Dr. Wagner is employed with Dubuque Surgery in Dubuque, Iowa and has been practicing medicine for 14 years. He attended the University of Iowa - Carver College of Medicine and completed his residency at Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Fletcher Allen Health Care at the University of Vermont. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
