Emergency Entrance Changes

Grant Regional Health Center is nearing completion of its expansion and renovation project. Parking lot work is planned for Thursday, September 13 through September 20. The entrance road to the hospital from Oak Street will be temporarily closed and all patients and visitors are asked to access the hospital from the South on Lincoln Avenue. The new Main Entrance and the Rehab entrances will be open however the Emergency/Walk-In Care entrance will be temporarily closed from September 13-20. This will not affect services in any way, only the entrance from Oak Street temporarily.

All ambulance traffic will still be able to access the ambulance garage via Oak Street, however, will be required to either back in or back out between 7 AM and 5 PM daily during this phase of work.  The ambulance garage will be ramped and accessible for ambulances to pull through the garage after 5 PM daily and exit via Oak Street, however, they will need to move barricades to exit.  Additional staffing will be supplied at both entrances from 6 AM to 10 PM daily to assure the patients are escorted to the Emergency Department.
