Participating in regular physical activity is essential for healthy aging, independent living & quality of life for older adults. The Physical Activity for Lifelong Success (PALS) program was designed by physical therapists, nurses, and physicians to improve the health & independence of older adults.
PALS is for adults 60 years of age & older who currently do little to no exercise. This is a 10-week group exercise program that involves aerobic, strength, flexibility, & balance exercises. You will also participate in weekly Lifestyle Classes where you will gain new skills & learn about making healthier lifestyle choices. In addition to classes, you will be encouraged to start doing regular physical activity at home or in the community.
